When I run "repair and optimize" from the maintenance menu, I get a message that says please wait. How long? The progress bar at the bottom of my browser completes and says "done".. does that mean that the repair is done or do I wait until the "Please Wait" message goes away?

I ran it again this morning and rather than "select all"...I just selected about 15 at a time. It worked fine that way. Finally got them all checked and optimized.
One other question. How often do most people do this? Is it considered routine maintenance that should be done at regular intervals?

There is no set timetable for this. Everyone is different. I would think running repair/optimize once a week would be fine on a reguular basis.
