"Contact Us" question

Hi! In my vBulletin Options I have it setup so only registered users can use the "contact us" form. But the thing is, I keep getting e-mail spam messages from bots using the form, who are supposedly registered users, but when I look for their usernames in the database, I am told, "No Users Matched Your Query."

I'm not sure why this is happening. If this has no easy fix, is it possible to disable the "contact us" form?

There should be a setting somewhere in options so that a image verification must be used before the form can be used.

The image verification is for when the user selects that even guests can use the contact form, though. Currently I have it set up so only registered users can use it.
