You can add the markup code in Usergroups--->Usergroup Manager

    Username HTML Markup
(Specify an opening and closing HTML tag with which to display the names of users in this group. This applies to names that appear on Logged-in Users, Who's Online, Users Browsing Forum, Users Browsing Thread, Posts, Member List etc.)

I went into my Administrator group and added <B> and <B> for opening and closing tags then tested and found it made everyones name bold ? Can anyone advise me the correct syntax so just admins are bold ? Thanks.

      Phil.

        Use the HTML Markup function:

Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Edit Usergroup -> Username HTML Markup

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

Thanks Steve, I've been there and added these tags but all users then appear in bold font.

Alright, here is where your problem lies. Make sure you are doing this in the Administrator and Moderator groups.

Add <b> on the before Username and </b> (the field to the very right) after.

That way, for an administrator it goes like this" <b>"Username"</b>.
What you entered was <b>"Username"<b> which the "/" isnt included therefore it continues to bold everything.

              <B> = start bold
              </B> = stop bold

              You have start bold twice.

God, those were the simple terms I was looking for. Couldnt figure out exactly how to explain it in good words.

Since this was done in the admin group area any admins now appear in bold which is what I wanted. So I did not even have to enter any names.
