searchshell.php gives html output!!!

    searchshell.php gives html output!!!

    when i try to run searchshell.php, it gives me my forums homepage output!


    how can i solve this? i must reindex my forum with searchshell.php...

    Are you running it from the Telnet/SSH prompt?

      Yes i run it fom ssh

      when i enter full path of my forum, it gives html output of forum index.

          i upload searchshell.php to my server and chmod +x searcshell.php

          then i run ./searchsell.php

              I have already replied to your support ticket: try running the script not as root but as your account username.

                  Run it like this:

                  php searchshell.php
                  Steve Machol, former vBulletin Customer Support Manager (and NOT retired!)
                  Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

                    i get same error... i tried everyway! re installed apache - php - mysql, redump my forum, re upload orginal vb files etc...


                    it wont worked on centos 4.2... is this script need any external module? it worked on my server only 1 times before hdd problem.

                        Was this matter ever solved? I have the same issue, SSH to the shell and executing php searchshell.php.

                        Im also on Centos.

                              Was a ticket ever entered? I'm running into the same problems, following all the advice above, not using root, calling the program, etc ...
