    Resizing avatars

    Hello,

I have a problem with the avatars, on the old forum i had the avatar dimensions 160 X 120 .. and now after updating and changing the style, i set the dimensions to 90 X 90 ... is there a way to force the custom avatars to be resized to 90 x 90 ?

    Thanks in advance.

Nope. You need to manually change those avatars.

Steve, not sure if I follow , but in the ACP is there a place I can change the size settings for the avatars?

After upgrading from 3.5.4 to 3.6.2 the new setting is at 80 X 80 and I cannot see if or where I can change it.

      Thanks

You can change the avatars sizes in the Usergrouop settings. But this is not rettoractive and will not change the existing avatars, only any new ones. As I said you will need to manually change any existing ones.

I was wondering the same thing for the retro-active conversion...Aren't all custom avatars kept in a folder? If so, can one dowload these avatars and do a batch conversion-resizing (irfan viewer) and then re-upload them? It would not re-name them.

Would you have to reset the chmodes after uploading?

There is no option to do this retroactively. You might want to check www.vbulletin.org to see if someone has created a plugin for this.
