Cannot Upgrade to vB 3.6.0 from 3.5.3

I cannot upgrade from my current 3.5.3 forum to the latest version. After I ran the upgrade script, it simply redirected me to my admin CP without performing the upgrade. I tried again, but still nothing.

Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

If I were you I would open up a support ticket with the vB team. Something has gone awry somewhere and I'd get the experts to take a look for you.

Good luck, I am certain it can be resolved.

Just my luck. I was looking to breathe some new life into my forum and now can't even get the upgrade to work.

All the other support tickets I submitted were answered quickly and all solved the issue, so hopefully they can solve this, too. Thank you for your help.

You're welcome. I am sure the vB staff will respond just as quickly to this issue of yours.

I know it's easy for me to say this, but don't worry - there will be a fix and I am certain that vB will get this sorted for you.

Let us know the outcome I also need to upgrade from 3.5.3

I understand that the post table needs to modified and the upgrade process can take hours.

I answered your support ticket but this problem is due to not uploading all the 3.6.0 files.

You should not have any problems if you follow the upgrade instructions.

The problem I faced was an error on my part that Steve can have a good laugh at.

Hi webfreak - just looking through my sibscribed threads and I see you have now got this sorted - nice one, I am glad you managed to get it done. What was the issue after? What was it that you were not doing? Might help others who experience a similar issue.
