I don't know. I wish I could help you. I did the exact same thing (the part that you quoted), and it works fine for me. What exactly is it that isn't working? I'm not sure what you mean with b/c

Would anybody happen to know how to stop just this [youtube] BBcode from being used in a users signature?

This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

Ah right so. Thought there might be a setting I wasn't ticking.

              Thanks anyway!

Just tried to use this youtube-bbcode and came accross the issue that apparantly the poster of a movie on YouTube can force people not to embed their movies on their forum/site...

I ended up installing the Automatic Media Embedding [ http//www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=150863 ] instead.

Saves teaching lazy users how to use the youtube BBcode tags.

But if the person wants to attack a site with flash content could he just upload it to YouTube then goto the site he wants to attack and copy + paste is movie to the site he wants to attack.

Bad movie he uploaded to YouTube : http://youtube.com/watch?v=kYvZnTFpip0

The above link is not a real bad movie its a clip from the movie "Downfall" called Hitler Gets Banned (His Ultimate Downfall).

The link is fine, it just got an extra http:// at the start.

This is it here properly now.
