RSS: lastpost=1

What exactly should adding: &lastpost=1 to an RSS feed do?

From what I've read it should add all posts from threads to the feed. This isn't happening for me though - it just acts like a normal feed where the first post of a thread is the only post added to the feed.

Am I understanding this option incorrectly or is this a bug?

It will pull the latest updated threads, displaying the lastpost of each thread.

Are there any settings that would affect this from working correctly?

I subscribed to this forum with the lastpost=1 option and it is working as expected, but it still does not work on my forum - I still only get the first post in each thread.

Perhaps you do not have the external.php from 3.6?

I got it working - I initially added the option to an existing feed. So, I unsubscribed from my feed and then resubscribed and it started working the way it should. So, I'm not exactly sure what the problem was - it may have been an issue of FeedDemon not picking up the change to the feed.

alright. i have a related question here. forum is hosted at broadbandforum.in.

i am trying to get the feed to display the latest posts on the forum.

it works fine. but the links are still pointing to the first page.
