I would like to change my vB from western language to UTF-8. How can I do that without corrupting data. The MySQL table structure is currently based on latin1_swedish_ci.
I made an fresh install of vB and recognized that vBulletin uses type InnoDB for the most tables know. Should I change my MyISAM to InnoDB? Is it possible to install vB on a new utf8 based MySQL database and transfering data from the old database to the new one step by step? How much effort it will take to do this? What is the easiest way to achieve my goal?
