Need moderators to be able to do this

Is there away to let moderators move someone to another usergroup instead of banning
In other words – my moderators have the permissions to ban a user but I also would like them to be able to move them to another user group (less harsh than banning). I already have the user group – I just need to know what to do to allow them to be able to accomplish this. I hope this is explained okay.

If you make that group a 'banned' group, then your Mods will be able to choose that group when banning.

are you saying to make the 2nd one called banned?

Like right now - I have it named review - so just change the name?

Yes, as I said they can choose that usergroup if you make it a banned group. To do this set 'This Usergroup is not a 'Banned' Group' to 'No' for that group.

Okay one last question – will it allow me to keep the permissions I currently have or will it change them to the banned permissions
