OK, I am a newbie, so forgive my ignorance. I setup my includes/config.php according to the instructions in this thread. http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=163575
OK, all well and good, it uploaded to my server just fine. I created a folder on my server called 'forums'. This is what I put in this part:
PHP Code:
I changed 'forum' to 'xyxyxyx_forums'.
I also set up a database in my mySQL called xyxyxyx_forums.
I have uploaded the "uploads" file to the forum directory on my server.
When I go to the next step of running the install script, nothing happens. I just get a 404 error.
I tried typing in the following in my browser:
http://www.mysite.com/forums/install/install.php and I just get the 404 error. I have been working on this for twelve hours, I think I may have one hair left on my head that I haven't pulled out of my head!!!! HELP!!!! What am I doing wrong?????
