I have one forum where the option to have polls is missing. The other forums allow polls. In forum manager I don't see a place to allow polls. How do I do this??

You probably set an exception for that forum in your:
Admin CP -> Forums & Moderators -> Forum Permissions -> [Edit] -> Can Post Polls -
It says that administrators and registered can post polls even in the specific forum I am having trouble with and all parents. I still do not have access to polls on this forum. I even reset permissions for the forum!"The best time to sleep is just before waking up."
