How do I disable search in some categories or foruns?

Hello,

I have a category called "dump" that has a forum will all deleted topics and messages, however I began to noticed that users were able to search for it, but when click to see it will show a non-authorize message, to some groups.

Is possible to disable groups of users to not search on that category? Or maybe easier to disable search for all?

When you edit a forum, you can specify whether it is included in the search engine or not.

Admin CP -> Forums and Moderators -> Forum Manager -> Edit (click the go button) -> Index New Posts in Search Engine.

However if the post is already indexed, then it would inherit the user's permissions as if they could access that thread or not. Any forum where the user doesn't have access will not have its threads listed in the search results.
