Multi-language forum, how to?

I want to make all forums available to multiple languages but at the same time I dont want other languages visible where not relevant.

If you are logged in and have french for instance set as your language, then I dont want english forums to show up.

Please can you point me in the correct direction?

You could do this with some fancy template conditionals, by checking the languageid the user has set, and displaying forums depending on that.

That'd be mostly template edits to the forumhome_forumbit_* templates.
