Change the Powered by Vbulletin?

When you run a search for my site, all says is Site name- Powered by Vbulletin. How do I change that to make the link more discriptive?

Well, you can edit the x_powered_by template and change what it says.

but making google/{insert other search enginge here} update this now is not somethign you can do.

Can I put meta tags on the forum main page and keywords?

That is a default option in the vbulletin options

In Phrase Manager, search for this phrase variable: x_powered_by_vbulletin

It defaults to:

{1} - Powered by vBulletin

Change it to:

{1}

If you mean the meta tags, these can be changed in your
AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> General Settings
