banner (or category description?)

There are many threads on banner insertion, but I did not find one dealing my problem.

Somehow (based on some advise form this forum) I was able to put the banner there.

Now I cannot figure out how I did it. (I promise, next time I will mahe notes.)
Any advice, thanks?

In the forum description part of the forum manager add the html code to display the required banner ie

<img src="[color=red]URL TO BANNER[/color]" alt="[color=red]TEXT IF BANNER NOT DISPLAYED[/color]" />

replacing the red text with the contents as described.
