Thumbnails don't display in Internet Explorer

    Hi all,

Can anyway see the thumbnail attached to the thread at http://www.aacircle.com.au/forums/da...tic-foods.html when using IE?

IE doesn't want to show the thumbnails, yet Mozilla can. How do I get the thumbnails to show in IE?

    Thank you.

No permission to view - do you have a test login?

No permission to view - you are correct. My mistake. I had prevented guests to download attachments. Do you know how I can allow guests to view jpg and gif images but not download any other attachments?

Yes, just turn on inline images...

ACP -> vBulletin Options -> Message Attachment Options -> View Attached Images Inline -> Yes

Thanks for your suggestion Lats. However, it still doesn't work.

I do currently have -> View Attached Images Inline -> Yes.

Guest user permissions is set to disallow attachment download. Hence, viewing images inline still is considered a download.

Perhaps this requires a hack to allow download of images.

There is no way to restric users from viewing one type of attachment and not another.

Thanks Zachery. I thought so. It seems it will require a hack.

              Cheers.

Ummm, I was under the impression viewing a thumbnail was different to downloading say a .zip file.

Back to the drawing board on that one I guess.
