People (China) linking to my attachments!

I have discovered that a Chinese forum looking page has linked directly to my attachments. I need to stop this right now, so people only on the forum can view the attachment... how do I do this?

Do I set permissions differently? Right now I have "users" as read and execlute, list folder contents, and read. Is that wrong? I should add that my attachments are on the file system of a Windows 2003 server.

I tried to stop them by banning all IPs from China but that's not working. Please help as this is bringing my server to a stand still...

    Thanks,

    Sebastian

Just do this change the permission mask of guest users that they won't be able to download attachments. But registered members can... what are you hosting anyways? Because its pretty rare of people to link to attachments..

Nothing that you would think people would want to see!

        Here's the site,

It's a historical uniform forum (yawn, most people) and if you right click on the properties of those photos, you can see that they are in my forum.

        How did they do that?

        They are killing my forum!

Just disable guests viewing attachments on your forums via the usergroup permissions.

They are just linking to your attachments with html/bbcode

[img]http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=140682&stc=1[/img] IF we allowed dyanmic images here it would work.

Thank you, that did the trick.
