When my users try to upload a avatar they are getting this error:

They are trying to upload a file that is not a jpg, with a .jpg filename.

1 user just tried to do a gif file and it gave them same error.

whats the problem here?

Are you 100% positive? They gave you the image and you got the same error?

that is the image. i tried to add it myself through admincp to inside the users profile and got the error

Your image works properly if I rename it to avatar27873lq.jpg

but we shouldnt have to be naming it to a jpg. avatars are gif allowed arent they?

Buyt the file is not a gif, its a jpeg.
