    Cannot connect to local server

    Right i`ve got through to the Vbulletin page and now I have this problem.
    I have called up my webhost, and they say there is no problem with Msql.
    Can you help i`m real confused. I`ve tried everything

    Error description: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) //includes/class_core.php on line 279

    This error means either:

    1. The info in your config.php file is wrong (in which case your forums wouldn't work at all), or

    2. MySQL crashed, it's not running or it can't find the socket. You need to contact your host about this. Here is more info on this error:
