adsense banner that floats over navbar flyouts

I have 4 banners just below my navbar and 3 of them are gifs, the fourth is an adsense banner. The nav menu flyouts work normally except for the ones by the adsense banner (SEARCH and QUICKLINKS) - they flyout under the adsense banner... How do I fix this?

I have seen this problem reported before, but I haven't found a solution. I recommend moving the banners to a different location to avoid the conflict.

it only seems to happen with that specific banner which is a flash banner. the other gif banners are OK...
