Attachment problem

Hello,
when i try to upload a file it give this error:

Upload Errors
filename.tld
Could not create file system directory to hold your attachment.

how can i solve?

Make sure the directory you are using to store your attachments is chmod'ed to 777.

i already make a
chmod -R 777 attachments
in fact:
drwxrwxrwx 11 weitalia weitalia 4096 2005-12-06 16:51 attachments

Also make sure that the directory you want to upload attachments to is set correctly in vBulletin.

solved, the path in vb was wrong

At first I got the "Could not create file system"-error because the directory was incorrect. After correcting this I get the error :

File system directory is not writable.

At this point the attachments are viewable in threads, and according to my controlpanel the attachment directory are checkmode 777.
