    Complete Backup

After a long struggle (due to my own general lack of understanding regarding MySQL), I was finally able to use the mysqldump command to make a backup of my bulletin's board database. Is this the only file that I would need if I ever needed to restore my bulletin board or are there some other files that I should grab. I have been regularly making a back up of the forums directory (you may have a different name for this directory but essentially it is the directory that has all vbulletin folders and files like config.php) but I was not sure if I needed to do this.

The database and forum directory are all you need.

Also if you are storing attachments and avatars in the file system, you will need to back these up as well.
