Rebuild bitfields? What's that?

I had to run that so that one of the plugins work but what does that "rebuild bitfields" actually do... generally speaking?

I'm just wondering if I have to go and check some settings if they have reverted back or something...

When you update a cache like datastore or other options you need to rebuild those bit fields ..

We don't recommend to rebuild the bitfields unless you were told by the vBulletin staff members to do so.
