Link to relevant post, not whole thread, from search results?

Is there a way to link to the exact post a search string shows up in, rather than link to the thread? Some threads stretch on 20-30 pages, and there might only be one or two posts relevant to the search string -- in which case it's a pain to sift through the entire thing. Is there pre-existing functionality in vB that will let me do this?

The search form gives you the option of displaying results as threads or posts. The post option will display the specific matching posts.

If you want to check someone's posts there is no link to the post itself, only to the thread.
