    Recalculate Reputation

    Hi guys!

I don't know if I had understad this right but I have about 4200 posts on my forum and I have used the function to recalculate reputation to 10 but I just get 10 i reputation

Shouldn't users get 10 + all the reputation for their past posts, members since X days and so on?

I have everything on default in the reputation mangager/options

Are you an Admin and did you set the reptuation power to '10' for admins?

I'm a admin and it was in the Maintenance-->Updade Counters-->Rebuild User Reputation

Base Reputation Value was set to 10

I have never before used the Reputation function on my forum but I wanted to test it and I thought that users should start with 10 + point for their past posts, member since and so on...

What do you have for this setting:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> User Reputation Options -> Administrator's Reputation Power

            Reputation, is not reputation power.

Reputation power is the ability to alter anothers reputation.

Reputation is points you recive for being a good and or bad user from other mermbers.

Okay but I still don't understand this.

I have used my forum (vb froum) now for 10 month (before that is was a Snitz forum). I have never before used the reputation function, it has been turned off.

But now I wanted to use it on my forum.
The thing I wanna know is if I start now with the reputation function and recalculate users reputation shouldn't users get 10 + points for totalt posts, members since and so on.

I have users that have been members for 5 years and made about 3500 posts... should't they get more than just 10 if I recalculate repuation?

No, those functions are for REPUTATION POWER, reputation can only be gained via others giving it to you.
