when I click the link to admincp/index.php to log into the admincp, it does not direct me to the adminboard.
It redirecting me back to the log in page.

It never has before so i dont understand why it has now, its accepting my password and everything but just redirecting me back to where I log in.

I am on someone elses Computer in another country (holiday) could that be it?

Sorry not sure if I understand, you mean its already in the forum directory in the folder where I downloaded the VB file?
I am not home right now, it will be another 2 months before I can do this, can I load it up again here even though I am not in my own PC?

This is probably a cookie domain/path issue. To fix this, upload the tools.php script in the 'do_not_upload' folder of the vB zip file to your Admin CP directory. Use this to reset the cookie domain and path back to the defaults. And then leave your cookie domain and path at the default settings. There is no reason to change these. If you need to specify a unique cookie, use the cookie prefix setting in config.php instead.

If it's not that, then it's a problem with the vB files. To troubleshoot this, remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.

If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

                              What does ASCII format mean?

Well I have not done anything yet.. as no one has so far said it worked... just dont want to mess it up,
My computer in London is working the admincp but not in Dubai in another PC which is a bit odd....

Anyone else found a way to fix this yet?
