Issue with new Post Icons

Greetings.
I've added new icon category (cause i wanted to set restricted premissions for the icon in it) and new icon in it.
I've restricted the icon usage to Admins only.

Now, when i edit or create my own thread, the icon is shown as needed. But when i'm trying to edit someone other's thread and set this new icon, it don't shows up after saving post...
vB version is 3.5

This will not work because the post author is not an Admin.

It's really strange... I'm sure it wasn't like this in 3.0.x...
So, admins haven't full editing power over user-maded posts?
Is there any way to work this issue around?
I need to have an icon than only certain groups could use, and admins and moders could set it on others threads...

There is no workaround that does not require modifying the code. If you've limited these icons to Admins, then they can only be used for Admin posts.
