Adding a box on Home Page.

I am wanting to add a box on the homepage, just a small line at the top, under the header where only Admins can post latest updates daily for members to see as soon as they log on.

I have tried this using instructions for vbulletin 3.0 but it did not work on 3.5

Anyone with the code and where to place on the FORUMHOME template would be much appreciated.

It sounds like you want to post an announcement. You can do that from the ACP.

No an announcement will only show up in individual forums, I want this on the home page.
