    Data Base Errors

    I have been getting these errors in my email this afternoon.
    Can anyone tell me what is happening by looking at the errors I ahve at lest 10-12 of them.

    ERROR: "Database error in vBulletin :

    mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)
    /home/My Domain/public_html/forums/includes/class_core.php on line 273

    Are you still getting them? Looks like mysql was down for a few moments, chances are the server had been rebooted.

      I had my host to check it out and they didn't find any problem so maybe it was a reboot on server.
      Thanks Zachery for your reply. It seems to be ok now and I am not getting any email messages with errors.

        Now I'm getting those messages. I've had around 5 during the last hour:

        Database error in vBulletin :

        mysql_connect(): Lost connection to MySQL server during query
        /home/vhost/domain/root/www/includes/class_core.php on line 273

        what should I do?

          I contacted my host and they had a look but said nothing was wrong.
          They emailed back and said that mysql may have been as Zachery said that mysql may have been rebooted.
          Mine works ok now without any errors after that little mishap yesterday.

          I would send the error to your host and see what they say. Weird that mine worked without any errors after contacting my host.

              @dalai

              You already have created your own thread with all relevant information. To not clutter up attempts to support you, i suggest you don't post about the same problem in other threads.
