How do I remove all avatars from everyone?

since people all already had an avatar still display the old one..even know i set the size to 0x0..

yes..but disabling and removing is different...
i want to remove it...

so i can start fresh by letting on certain usergroup have avatars...

Run this query to remove all custom avatars:

TRUNCATE customavatar;

I hate to bump an old thread, but it is almost the same topic.

If I had a usergroup that had avatars enabled and then changed the users' usergroup to one that had them disabled, would the avatars be removed from the db or would they simply be disabled, but still in the db?
