Problems with Link Button in Editor

In the textedit.js file the area that covers inputing a hyperlink has a problem.

You have

     }
    }
    return true;
   };

Which creates a popup window to enter the url but not a window to enter the text that the url goes to so it automatically puts in the url in both places.

What code do I need to enter here to change this so you are promted for the text and then the url?

You just need to highlight the text you want to link.

Sorry to be so dense but do you have an example of what you are talking about?

If you click on the url link in the toolbar only one window pops open instead of the two that used to with earlier versions of vB. So the only thing you can put in is the url. Then that url is repeated in the link that is pasted to the message.

For example

http://www.homtheaterforum.com

instead of the title of the url

Well, how it worked before isn't how the WYSIWYG editor or Word ever worked. We just made all the editors consistent.

Type the text you want to make a link, highlight it, click the link button.

Is there anyway you can provide the code to change it back to the way it was before? It seems strange to make something worse so that it's the same as word, a few of our users have been wondering why it's broken now.
