Sign out problem

Hello,

I have problem with vb 3.5.0 RC2.

When I sign out from the forum ..
the two links appears:

All cookies cleared!
* Return to the page you were previously viewing
* Go to forums index


But,when I click on those links .. they are being:

http:// www. domain .com/forum/$url
http:// www. domain .com/forum/$vboptions[forumhome].php?$session[sessionurl]

.
.

So, how can I remove : "$url" and "$vboptions[forumhome].php?$session[sessionurl]" ?

The first thing I recommend is that you reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.

Next, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

I too am having this same problem when logging out. First off, I have to hit log out twice otherwise my login information still shows up at the top. Once I do log out, all urls mentioned in the first post of this thread come up that way.

I did re-upload everything exactly as instruction (twice) as well as cleared cookies and everything else mentioned here and other threads, but I'm still having this same problem. Any other suggestions?

Specifically, this is the cookieclear phrase. But all the error message phrases have changed syntax from 3.0.x to 3.5 -- you may wish to look at all your customized phrases (specifically ones that still have "$" in them) and compare them to the originals.

sounds good. where do I find the original phrases to compare them to?

You should be able to see them when you edit via the phrase manager.

I fixed that problem.

The problem was in the language. Try to use the default language "English", it works fine with me.

Awesome - got that issue taken care of. Now there's one more issue I'm still dealing with and there's a few threads about it but non of the solutions provided there works.

When I hit log out, I get the confirmation that all cookies were cleared, etc, etc..., however my user name still shows up at the top right until I navigate out of that area. I've reverted my navbar, cleared cookies, tried the default template and new template, but it still doesn't get rid of that issue. Any other suggestions? Thanks for all the help so far!

This is not a problem, I think it is a feature of vb 3.5.0.

Try to logout from vBulletin.com's forum (here), you will notice the same thing.

i dont get that prob here. it logs me out properly.
