WYSIWYG Problem -- Text after smiley/image gets removed.

I just upgraded to the 3.5 beta, and I've run into a problem. When a user tries quoting or editing a message while the WYSIWYG editor is enabled, all text after an image or smiley is completely gone. This results in messages being chopped at certain points, and is quite annoying when you're trying to edit a post.

I noticed that it's not happening on vb.com, so I'm guessing that it's not a bug, and that I'm the only one with the problem.

I've tested on Linux Mozilla, Linux Firefox, and Windows IE.

    Thanks,
    Ron

Are you sure you haven't cached old js files?

try a hard refresh (ctrol + f5 in windows) and clear your cache and make sure you are using the proper 3.5 files.

Gave it a try, and had no luck. I asked a couple other people to try it out, and they're having the same problem.

Can you post a test case on how to exactly reproduce this?

            To reproduce:

            1. I make a post with "text1 text1 [image] text2 text2"

            2. I submit the post, and go to edit or quote it.

            3. The new post will display "text1 text1 [image]", without text2 text2.

What server resources does the WYSIWYG editor rely on? Perhaps I'm
missing something that I should have. I've got my own VPS, so I have
the power to install whatever I need.

Doesn't rely on anything but the BBCode Parsing functions on the server. The majority is handled via the web browser and javascript.

Just checked my templates. All are default, except the header.

Can you duplicate this problem yourself? The most likely cause is that you either have not uploaded all the 3.5.0 or you are pulling the javasccript from your browser cache.

I guess the problem was related to the style, as I created a new style and the WYSIWYG seems to be working fine with it. I guess I'll create a new style, and change it to look like the old one. I'm not sure what the problem was, as all of the templates in the old style were set to default.

Much thanks, for all of your help!
