    CSS as File Issue

My gradients are dropping when I try using CSS as an independent file. I'm on RC4.

    Any thoughts?

Where are your image paths located?

if you store css as a file, and you added to the extra CSS, you will need to add ../../ to any url() if it is outside of vB's main classes

I'm working on an untouched style, with a cleanly installed upgrade to RC4 (From 2).

I saw a thread here that someone had a similar problem, and that there *was* a fix...just never told me where to get it

vB automatically adds to ../../. A lot of times, though, it seems that it can't store the file, and CSS is displayed in the page source with ../../ in front of the URLs. Make sure PHP has write access to the vbulletin_css subfolder of the clientscript folder and update the styles so it will save the CSS to a file.
