New Posts/Read Posts

So i`ve eventually solved the logging out problem, and all appears to ve well.

BUT, when i goto new posts at the top - it shows me all new posts - great.

So i read them all, and the new post indicator at the side disappears.

Go back to the main forum, refresh, and all new post indicators are gone. Great.

So, if i press new posts again, it shows me the posts i have already read?! Or, if i exit ie, restart it and goto new posts - all the posts i have just read are shown as new posts - ie: unread, complete with unread icons?!?!

Anyone shed any light on this?

Post Read markers are held for that session only. If you leave and return, the same posts could be marked as read. Logging out though will fix this if you leave the site.

The New Posts link will show you all posts that have been made since your last visit. It doesn't take into account whether you have read it or not.
