It seems if someone turns off their rep now, it's not displayed for the user, and that's it. Is there a way that comments can't be left for them either? Most of the complaints I get are from users about the comments left for them, and if I could allow them a way to just turn it off like that, it'd make it easier for me.

Have you checked usergroup permissions?
I think there is an options somewhere in there that 'can read eachothers comments''. I can be wrong though; it has been a while

I'm not looking to manually assign people to primary usergroups though, I'm looking to know if this is a possible user option.Comment
