    Top Link

    Hi,

Our threads get long and I would like to add a "top" link to each post.

It's the same code as the "Top" link in the nav bar on the foot of the forum, correct? If not, please let me know what to use. I have this as the code:
    Code:
    <a href="#top" onclick="self.scrollTo(0, 0); return false;">$vbphrase[top]</a>
Where would I add this to each post?

I would like it by the "Edit" "Quote" "Quick Reply" buttons.

    Thanks!

Yes, but only if the child style calls for the same images as it's parent. If the child style was made to use different images, they will have different file names and won't be located with the default images. Any such style should come with a folder of images for you to upload to your server's forums or images folder.

    New styles and images

I realize that this is probably a stupid question, but I've imported a bunch of your vbulletin styles to give my users options (http://x.russbo.com/vb/index.php), and I've got a problem with images being seen in the new styles. I imported all the new styles as "children" of the main original style (russbo style), and all seems to work correctly, except, various images are not being found. Also, some hacks are not coming across.

If the style is a child, doesn't it inherit ALL of the templates? Or do I have to copy some across?

If the style is a child, shouldn't it find all the images of the parent style???

Thanks. VB3 is just awesome. You guys are to be deified.

In the menus at the left side of the screen, vBulletin Options is at the top of the list. When you click it, you will get a list of options. The seventh option listed is what you're looking for.

    Hope that's helpful.

    Centering a logo

The frequently asked questions offer the following:
Q1. My logo is off center, how do I fix this?

A1. Open your header template and find &nbsp; and remove it.

I tried that, and I'm afraid it didn't work. My logo (i.e., Title Image) remains left-justified. (See http://writingforresults.net/forum/ for an example.) My goal is for it to be centred on the screen.

Is there something I've missed there? I would be grateful for any guidance.

    Regards,

    Rob Parkinson

hey guys, i'm relatively new here. I have a question i tried to search for and couldn't find.

How do I set a postcount minimum for threads. I have many new members, and they tend to repeast threads that have been done. Any help will be appreciated

The problem I am having is there are so many changes in VB3 from VB2 that I can no longer make simple layout/style changes [and have different options for users] like in VB2, is there a way to cut down on all the crap that was added and make that a little easier?
