    Edit URL paths?

    Hi there -

I would very much like to be able to edit the way in which my vB links with itself, to prevent Google PR being split between my root folder and root folder/index.php?

Is there any way I can do this?

    I am especially thinking of:

vBulletin Community Forum > vBulletin 3 vBulletin 3 'How Do I' Questions
as a part I need to edit.

Does anybody know what I'm talking about?

    Any pointers greatly appreciated.

Not really quite clear on what you want to do... That however is the Navbar template so you could probably make your changes there.

Many thanks for that - that could be the clue I needed. I've looked in the Navbar template and my initial impression is that the link is defined by:

      "$vboptions[forumhome].php?$session[sessionurl]"

I've searched the different templates and replaced this with "/" which so far as I can tell works for what I wanted.

(I just hope it doesn't affect the vB adversely. I've made a record of the changes I've made, so if there are any problems I can change back.)

Anyway, again, many thanks for that. I'll see if it keeps working as intended.
