    Scott,

I just want to say Thank you . Your cookie script really cut the amount of support requests I get every day. Great job!

privacy issue not all cookies cleared (bbsesionhash)

        Hi,

I dont have a problem with users staying logged in, but I may have a privacy policy issue (our site is very sensitive to privacy issues). When a user logs out, the logout page by default states that all cookies have been cleared. However, if I check (on firefox) I still have one vbulletin cookie, the bbsessionhash. If I close the browser naturally the cookie dies with it. However I am concerned that although we state that all teh cookies have been cleared - it is not true as the session has persists.

        Any thoughts comments?

The sessionhash can't be linked to any person by people who don't have access to the forum's database.

Does this work with 3.5x? If so (or if not, for that matter), could the first post in the thread be updated?

Sorry if it's been asked before.

yes, i have my cookie path to /forums/ .. and many of my members are also having logout problem..

                            Scott,

Has/can this be ported to work under 3.6.2 - ??

With the recent issues with cPanel time-stamping - members aren't able to search, etc. due to their cookies having the inaccurate date/times - and 99% of my members aren't internet savvy enough to know how to clear their cookies through their browser.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide!

This should be working on any vB 3.x version.

I had it uploaded to my root - but when followed, I got:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/aquarium/public_html/includes/init.php on line 185
I moved it under the /forums/ directory - and it works.

                                Sorry - dumb moment. lol

                                Thanks!!!
