Images and a Newbie Board

I am creating a forum for a Board of Directors. Each member knows how to send e-mail and surf the web, but that's about it. They will need to upload images. I fear that since most of them will snap digital shots at 2048 X1536. I would like to limit the file size to no more than 640x480. Is there a provision in 3.0 to use that as a default if they try to upload a larger image.

If you mean to automatically resize the image then no, this is not a feature.

Tnx for moving the thread. So, should I assume from your reply that the users will have to learn how to reduce a jpg.

Tnx, I also thought of that but doesn't that just give an error message "you need to make the image smaller"

Yes, they'll get the error message if the image is too large.
