Abort upgrade problem

Hi there -

While converting a vB 2.3.2 board to vB 3 beta 6, I made the incredibly stupid idea of using back on my browser to recheck what I just read was right.

Then an error message came up - same for forwards.

So I figured I'd messed up the upgrade. Fine - I restore up the backup database.

But then when I tried to upgrade again, the upgrade script automatically sent me to the further step.

My question is: how do I ensure that I can re-start the upgrade script from scratch?

EDIT: I can't get to step 1 - the script keeps sending me to step 5, where it displays an error.

Any help much appreciated.

Whoops - my bad.

I'd been trying to restore the database through CPanel - but had been uploading it in the wrong area - so although I thought I was uploading a new db, it was always the older one present, hence why the upgrade script was still hanging.

Everything fine now - the upgrade has worked properly.

Apologies for the simple mistake.
