I tried testing mine out, and got this error:

We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem.<br><br>If this payment is for an eBay auction, you can contact the seller via the "Ask Seller a Question" link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at www.paypal.com.

    Any ideas why?

if another payment is sent it will be ignored due to the error checking.

It checks the format of the item number and then checks the amount entered matches the specifiy subscription before it adds the subscriptions.

I do. But I'm testing it in a password-protected directory. Would that have anything to do with it?

With an .htaccess on it? Paypal won't be able to call your script.

I've looked but can't find the answer to this question...

When a subscription comes up, and the subscription was for a larger avatar... will the users avatar be forced down to the UN-subscribed size?

What I'm trying to figure out is, say I have a 1 month subscription and a 6 month subscription to larger avatars... what prevents a user from signing up for the 1 month and just never changes his avatar again, thus keeping the larger size. If after his subscription is up, it doesn't force him back down the unsubscribed size... there is no encouraging him to go for the longer subscription.

              Clear as mud?

The same would go for Editable Titles, and anything else that might stay in the subscribed state, after the subscription is over.

after the subscription expires it looks what the subscription offers and then removed the public usergroups, resets the primary usergroup to previous value and or removed access masks that were set when joining.

I dont know about the avatar, I think the result regarding that is the next time they edit it they will be required to make it smaller.

Perhaps it'll be nice to have a vB-Cron job that checks and rests avatars, etc.?

Or simply deletes the user's avatar as soon as the subscription's over if it's over the unsubscribed limit

I kinda figured that's what would happen with the usergroup and such... but kind of a bummer that some form of the perks they purchased will stay.

For avatars... if you have the thumbnails turned on, then the board should have the ability to resize it to the largest available size of the usergroups they still belong to.

For custom titles... it should be able to return the user to where they should be in the usertitle ladder.

PMs... while they shouldn't be deleted the level will go back down and they won't be able to send/receive till they get below the new threshold. I think this one will already work with the simple usergroup change.

What else could be customized that would need to be "rolled back"??

Well, you could always write a little PHP script that checks for those, and add it to vbCron. I'm sure somebody else will hack it in, too.
                        :)

Attachment size, although that would really only be allowed for the duration of the subscription. Profile pictures, though.

PM limit is also per-usergroup, but if the limit is bigger than the original usergroup, and they get reverted and they have more PM's than their usergroup is allowed, they won't be able to receive more PM's

So how does it know what one is what when they subscribe ?

                            By the price?

By price, and also by the id of the payment.
