..but when I upload an attachment it says it is an invalid file, and the section beside the 'valid extensions' bit there is nothing, it is just blank.
Extensions for attachments are installed in database..

i had to play around with it (edit an extension, dont change anything, and save it) and then the extensions showed up on the upload popup.
I also moved it to filesystem attachments, rather than db. Not sure if this fixed the problem as well. -

by tomglIs there a good set of instructions on moving pictures and attachments to the file system on a new install. This would be after the install is done and I have test posts already.
