..but when I upload an attachment it says it is an invalid file, and the section beside the 'valid extensions' bit there is nothing, it is just blank.

i had to play around with it (edit an extension, dont change anything, and save it) and then the extensions showed up on the upload popup.
I also moved it to filesystem attachments, rather than db. Not sure if this fixed the problem as well. -

Is there a good set of instructions on moving pictures and attachments to the file system on a new install. This would be after the install is done and I have test posts already.
