Doesn't matter too much anyway, as this code isn't in beta 4.

Removing this will stop it checking admin permissions, do not edit this you might as well wait until b4 as this should be corrected.

Good idea to then quote his entire post

Just run fix_login.php that Kier made and delete the cookie manually from your hard drive and login again. It will be fixed. Otherwise just wait for beta 4 today or at least share the problem you have - how is it not letting you in?

I did. Still logs me out every 5 mins. O well beta 4 is *supposed* to be coming out today so I will just wait.

I was having problems with logging in to the admin, and staying logged in in general, and after I did all the 'fixes' in this thread was still having the problem. BUT!

I just continued to look around and try things, and what seemed to fix the problem for me was in the vbulletin options >> admin control panel options, and turning OFF 'timeout admin login'.

Since I turned that off I havent been logged out once. Before I would randomly be logged out even if it was only a second between clicking links in the admin.

WTF? Now when I enter my customer number to start the installer, I'm brought back to the same page over and over again!

Be sure to use your customer number, not your license number

Ok, so thats done. I mean I got past the Customer Number part. But now, it still won't let me login to the ACP. And yes, I ran Kier's fix_login script.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that this is a fresh install.

Weird. I've cleared cookies, cleared cache, restarted browser, tried a different browser, ran the fix script and still won't work. Would this have something to do with running it on localhost?

I'm still having problems after the beta 4 upgrade as well. Cleared cookies and all that good stuff...
