Where are the security fixes/patches

My 3.0.1 got hacked recently, i started looking for fixes but there is almost nothing in the appropiate sub-forum

Where the security fixes disapeared?
I guess the only way to secure my installation now is to actually upgrade to the latest version?

You need to upgrade to at least the latest verison of 3.0.x. But please be aware 3.0 is EOL and not supported anymore. Its in your best intrest to upgrade to 3.8.1.
