Getting a vB Control Panel database error...

    Hey guys,

Here's the error Im getting. And yes, I am running vB 3.08 because of a custom-made mod that might need to be upgraded. I recently upgraded my box to run MySQL 5.0 and PHP 5. Do I absolutely have to run 3.5+ now? I hope not... Hopefully there's a fix to this...

The board works fine, thats why...just the control panel...

    Anyway, here's the error:

    ----

    Database error in vBulletin 3.0.8:

    Invalid SQL:
    SELECT thread.threadid, thread.forumid
FROM thread AS thread, subscribethread AS subscribethread
LEFT JOIN deletionlog AS deletionlog ON(deletionlog.primaryid = thread.threadid AND type = 'thread')
    WHERE subscribethread.threadid = thread.threadid
    AND subscribethread.userid = 4
    AND thread.visible = 1
    AND lastpost > 1229388186
    AND deletionlog.primaryid IS NULL

mysql error: Unknown column 'thread.threadid' in 'on clause'

    mysql error number: 1054

I am almost 100% certain that this is due to MySQL 5. vB 3.0.8 is simply not compatible with the latest versions of MySQL, and possibly PHP 5 as well. Your options are to either downgrade MySL and PHP back to their previous versions, or upgrade vB.

Please also note that vB 3.0.x is no longer supported, and neither is 3.5.x.
