Question about the "New Posts" button / feature

Some of my mods are complaining about the "New Posts" link that one clicks to see all the new posts posted since last visit. They basically say "I click on New posts and I begin to read a long long post, then all the new posts that were there initially are now gone, since they are not new anymore, and i cant read each one to see if any were spam, bad words, etc..."..

so in summary, how do i fix it so that when someone clicks on new posts, it will keep all the new posts for a said amount of time (for example, keeep all new posts listed in the last 24 hours) no matter how many times he clicks new posts......

    anyone?

They are taking too long and their session is timing out. What is your cookie domain set to?

my timeout for cookie is set to 900

          would that affect it?

should i change it to say 3600 (1 hour)?

Yes, if they waited more than 15 minutes with no activity.
