Search Problem with multiple terms.

I've had many reports from users that it you use more than 2 search terms the search engine does nothing. In Firefox it displays "Done" in the browser, but nothing happens. In IE, it show a "Page can't be displayed" warning page.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Just checked - if you search title only, there is no problem. Searching post content does not work though.

This can happen if they search on a term that is very often used on your board, the search will timeout. Ask your members what searchterms they where using to identify the problem word, and add that to the search ignore list.

Anyone got any more advice on this? I've found that it does it for 2 words if the words used are common on my site. I really need to sort this out ASAP as I have over 2,000,000 posts that people can't search though. Many thanks.

Like i said before, add them to the ignore list if you are not using Natural Search.

I'm on version 3.0 still. Also, it fails on terms that I do not wish to exclude from the search.
